The OCR process converts document images to searchable text, making
it possible to search the text of a scanned image. OCR is an affordable
substitute to in-text review & coding for names and/or keywords.
Documents must be imaged prior to the OCR process. OCR can be performed in conjunction with the initial image capture, and can also be performed on selective subsets of document images. |
